3 countries in 7 days

Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau

sunny 20 °C

Ok so i cant really count Singapore, i was there all of 10 hrs. But hey I slept for 2 of those and got my passport stamped so in my books it counts.
Hong Kong was next on the list. After a very very early start I arrived and then managed to get on the right train into Central in Hong kong island..(was rather proud of myself) and meet my friend.
Hong kong is a wicked country but its also as expensive as London so for a little old backpacker its alittle painful but I had a wicked time. The first night we hit the town, had a yummy chinese meal and showed the locals some moves on the dance floor. On sunday we spent the day in Stanley, went to the local market and then to the Savills Rugby Sevens, my friend got roped into volunteering in the kids section in arts and crafts. I helped out (it was actually great fun).
The next few days were spent sight seeing, Mong Kok market, the mid level esculator, The Peak tram, Kowloon park and some other cool stuff.

At midday i said a sad farewell to Hong Kong and set sail for Macau. Not really knowing anything about this country apart from its where all the Hong Kong people go to gamble it was going to be an adventure. I managed to find the hostel i was booked into fine, however it turned out to be the worst place i have ever stayed. The room was the size of a cuboard and the shower didnt work. The person who ran it was an old woman who didnt speak english so we spoke in a series of 'oks'!! Finding the accommodation alittle depressing i decided to go sightseeing. I managed (somehow)to find the main attractons and took afew shots, impressing even myself on the amount of time i can kill doing absolutly nothing. The next day i was not sad to say farewell to macau.
